Masterminds – I geni della truffa (Titolo originale Masterminds) è un film di Jared Hess basato su eventi realmente accaduti a Charlotte (Carolina del Nord) nel 1997. Con Kristen Wiig, Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Zach Galifianakis, Ken Marino, Mary Elizabeth Ellis, Kate McKinnon, Devin Ratray, Leslie Jones, Rhoda Griffis, Danny Comden, Jon Daly, Kevin J. O’Connor, Daniel Zacapa, Matt Corboy. In uscita nei cinema in Italia mercoledì 9 novembre 2016.
Le musiche originali della colonna sonora sono composte da Geoff Zanelli. Nel film sono presenti anche canzoni di artisti vari come The Clash, Enya, James Roberson. I brani utilizzati nel trailer sono Don’t Speak (I Came to Make a Bang!) degli Eagles of Death Metal e Zillionaire – Flo Rida.
