La trama
In un distopico 2050, il pilota di caccia Adam Reed (Ryan Reynolds) ruba il suo jet del tempo e fugge nel passato in una missione di salvataggio fino al 2018. Ma si schianta accidentalmente nel 2022, dove incontra se stesso a 12 anni. Il giovane Adam, che sta lottando con la recente morte del padre, Louis (Mark Ruffalo), in un incidente d’auto, continua ad essere amareggiato verso sua madre, Ellie (Jennifer Garner), e a litigare a scuola. Adam chiede con riluttanza l’aiuto del suo io più giovane per riparare il suo jet e rivela che sta cercando sua moglie, Laura, che sarebbe stata uccisa in un incidente durante una missione nel 2018.
