Per la colonna sonora di Frankenweenie si è scelto per due uscite distinte, una con un CD contente brani originali composti da Danny Elfman – che per Burton ha già composto in diversi film, come Dark Shadows e Alice in Wonderland – e uno con brani interpretati da vari artisti, come Karen O, Plain White T’s, Kimbra, Skylar Grey e Neon Trees.
