Power è una canzone del rapper statunitense Kanye West, estratta come primo singolo dal suo quinto album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, pubblicato il 22 novembre 2010.
Prodotta da Kanye e S1, Power campiona 21st Century Schizoid Man della band progressiva britannica King Crimson, i tamburi di Cold Grits’ di It’s Your Thing e Afroamerica di Continent Number 6.
Durante un’intervista con la stazione radio di New York Power 105.1, West ha detto che ha trascorso migliaia di ore a lavorare su questa canzone. “Una canzone come Power ha impiegato 5.000 ore, letteralmente 5.000 ore-uomo per fare questo disco. È la quantità di tempo che dedico a tutte le canzoni dell’album”, ha rivelato West. Riguardo al video la top model russa Irina Shayk, che vi si vede seduta su una sedia, l’ha definito “un dipinto in movimento”.
Power è spesso utilizzata come colonna sonora di spot televisivi per i prodotti di Paco Rabanne e nel 2020 è stata utilizzata per uno spot della casa automobilistica Ford.
