La trama
Fallout è basata sul franchise di videogiochi di ruolo creato da Interplay Entertainment e ora di proprietà di Bethesda Softworks.
Lo spettacolo descrive le conseguenze di uno scambio nucleare apocalittico in una storia alternativa della Terra in cui i progressi nella tecnologia nucleare dopo la seconda guerra mondiale portarono all’emergere di una società retrofuturistica e ad una conseguente guerra per le risorse . Molti sopravvissuti si rifugiarono in bunker antiatomici conosciuti come Vault, costruiti per preservare l’umanità in caso di annientamento nucleare, ignari che ogni Vault era progettato per eseguire esperimenti psicologici sugli abitanti del Vault.

L’album contiene selezioni della musica originale dello spettacolo composta dal vincitore dell’Emmy Award Ramin Djawadi (Il problema dei 3 corpi, Frammenti dal passato – Reminiscence, House of the Dragon).
