La trama

La serie inizia con Isla Gordon che prende le redini della squadra di basket della sua famiglia, i Los Angeles Waves, dopo anni di esclusione dalle sue attività. Mentre si muove nel mondo del basket dominato dagli uomini, Isla deve fare i conti con le buffonate della sua famiglia e le sfide della squadra. Lo spettacolo esplora temi di resilienza, crescita personale e dinamiche familiari, rendendolo riconoscibile e divertente per gli spettatori.
