La trama
Brian Jennings ( Kevin James ) , contabile recentemente licenziato, fatica ad adattarsi a stare a casa con il figliastro Lucas (Benjamin Pajak), mentre sua moglie Emily ( Sarah Chalke ) fa turni extra in ospedale. Sperando di aiutare Lucas a fare nuove amicizie, Brian accetta di trascorrere un weekend di gioco con un altro padre, Jeff Eamon ( Alan Ritchson ), un papà casalingo sicuro di sé, il cui figlio CJ (Banks Pierce) lega rapidamente con Lucas.
