In radio in Italia da venerdì 24 febbraio 2017, September Song è una canzone del cantautore inglese JP Cooper pubblicata nel novembre 2016 e con già 30 milioni di stream nel mondo.

Ex membro del coro gospel The Manchester Sing Out Choir, John Paul Cooper, si definisce un artista self-made: “Io non voglio essere visto solo come cantante e cantautore, non voglio essere chiuso in un scatola preconfezionata. Voglio essere un po’ più di questo. Voglio fare grande musica e crescere. Ho sempre amato e ammirato gli artisti che si evolvono; persone come Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Björk. Spero di poter essere un artista che si saprà trasformare in un modo simile”.

Una canzone di JP Cooper, Birthday, è inserita anche nella colonna sonora del film Cinquanta sfumature di nero.
