Il brano è scritto dalla stessa Taylor Swift e Jack Antonoff e contiene un campionamento di I’m Too Sexy del gruppo inglese Right Said Fred.
In contemporanea è stato pubblicato anche il lyric video che ricevuto più di 39 milioni di visualizzazioni nelle prime 24 ore su YouTube, diventando il lyric video più visto nelle prime 24 ore, ed il video più visto nelle prime 24 ore del 2017. Il 27 agosto è stato pubblicato il video ufficiale, che con 43,2 milioni di visualizzazioni ha battuto il record del maggior numero di visualizzazioni in un giorno.
