Humility, Gorillaz feat. George Benson – Con Testo e Traduzione
Disponibile a partire da venerdì 1° giugno 2018, Humility è una canzone dei Gorillaz con la collaborazione di George Benson. Il video del brano, che vede 2D andare in giro sui pattini e Jack Black suonare agli angoli di strada, è stato diretto da Jamie Hewlett e girato interamente a Venice Beach.
Il singolo anticipa The Now Now, album disponibile a partire dal 29 giugno. Il disco arriva a pochi mesi dalla vittoria del loro primo Brit Award come Miglior Gruppo ed è prodotto dagli stessi Gorillaz, con James Ford e Remi Kabaka, è stato registrato interamente allo Studio 13 di Londra a febbraio di quest’anno.
Nella registrazione la band ha evitato le collaborazioni con delle guest star, preferendo riportare il tutto al gruppo creativo originale: alla voce il tenero sognatore dai capelli blu, 2D; alla chitarra la sfrontata ed insolente giapponesina, NOODLE; alla batteria il filosofo di Brooklyn e inventore di suoni RUSSEL HOBBS. E con Murdoc Niccals momentaneamente fuori gioco, nel nuovo album il basso è stato affidato al membro della Gangreen Gang ACE (la Gangreen Gang è un gruppo di attacca-briga dalla pelle verde, rivali delle Superchicche)
